Looking for the best way to fully clean my old Surefire C2?
Also, where to find O-rings for same?
I plan on using Nyogel to lube after cleaning.
Please advise.

I believe if you contact SF customer service they might send o-ring replacements.
If your talking about dirt (oxidation) on threads, try a squirt of silicone spray, toothbrush and rags. Then add your fresh Nyogel

If I ever get shmutz on gear, I use some isopropyl alcohol, an old toothbrush and some paper towels.

Waterproof lights I button up and scrub in the sink with dish soap and a toothbrush. Cleaned the threads with a rag and solvent, then re-lube.

I admit, I'd be hesitant to do that even with actual Dive lights.

If you have access to an ultrasonic cleaner that will get everything out. If not a toothbrush with some mild dish soap takes care of most of it. I clean the threads and O ring seats with rubbing alcohol before the soap to help remove any silicone lubricants that may resist the soap.
Reassemble and re- lube and your done.

I usually just run the light under cool water from the sink and use dawn dish soap. Ive done this with surefire, hds and streamlight and have never had a problem.

Anything even mildly waterproof is completely safe. Not dunking them in a bucket, just under the faucet. Sometimes you don't have much choice.
