Best way to storing an LED flashlight in a pouch?

I got a Surefire V1 Vampire light and also got a pouch for it which fits very well. The pouch what I got looks very similar to the one pictured below. What would be the best way to place the light into the pouch? With the bezel head facing up or down?

Bezel down. It offers more protection for the lens, and to me it's more natural to remove and utilize. I see no advantage to lens up storage.
