Better battery holder for Dinotte 200L?

Apologies if this is the wrong forum.

I have a Dinotte 200L-AA cycle light which I am reasonably happy with, but it is IMHO severly let down by the battery holder design.

The batteries are held in a seemingly cheap plastic holder with a "9V" snap connector, and in slung on the bike in a velcro secured cloth pouch!

Sadly there are two issues with this, the batteries have a nasty habbit of jumping out of the holder unless secured with tie-wraps, bands or whatever. Also the bulky flex end of the snap connector that stick proud of the holder has a habit acting as a point of leverage for pulling the connector from the holder if the cloth pouch touches anything.

If power is lost for even a millisecond then the Dinotte switches in to safe mode, and will produce a weak glow that you can't switch off without dismounting, and disconnecting. Not good on a long descent at night!

As the batteries need recharging seemingly daily, all the tie-wraps and bands needed to make a half reliable source of power are becoming a major PITA.

Does the great and good of CPF have a suggestion for a reliable battery holder that will hold 4AA batteries with no risk over them bouncing out, and can mate with a "snap connector" with no risk of disconnecting. Failing that is there a better way of connecting light to power that can be achieve with a modicum of butchery and solder?

Thanks (in advance) - Rufus.
