Bezel identification

I have 3 bezels which are exactally like the current production SF 6P bezels, however they have no heat warning, and the lens is a Z17 lexan snap in. Anybody know what these were made for?

Well, maybe I answered my own question - at least I'll throw it out there as a posibility. I received a used D3 from UPS today, and that is the bezel it came with. I don't know about the D2. Anybody have one and can verify they come with a sterile anit-roll bezel with a snap in lens?

My old school 6Z has no heat warning on it, if that helps...nor do alot of the older SF models (circa early 90's)...I'm guessing the bezels came off earlier weapon light models, where they initially deemed the heat warning was unecessary???
