Bike mounted TK45

Help Support Candle Power:

I know this isn't exactly what the OP was after, but these guys say they make the best bike headlights and having used them a bit (Night Races) I can say they are the best I have seen (in this country at least) - small, light, powerful and very long lasting - anyone here used them?

Only thing is... they're 'Australian' :p

That's a very cool mounting solution! :hitit:

This is how I've mounted my Elektrolumens DeCree XP-G. It's solid as a rock and you get so much light coming out of it it's rediculous.

It's mounted on a 60mm stem I had lying around and it fits like a glove. The stem also acts as a giant heat sink so much so that the head doesn't even get warm with a fresh 18650. I just carry a spare 18650 and then I know I have at least 3 hours of bright light.

Well i am a lucky boy the wife has just bought me a beast of a light for night riding. An exposure six pack with a maximum claimed 1800 lumens out the front. I am glad it is my fortieth as it brings the best presents. I cant wait to test it.

Going to test ride it tonight should be fun will tryu to post some pictures soon.

I'm going to do it-- I have an idea. I'm going to mount it with two if these twofish bikeblock 180 (I already have one) http://www.4sevens.com/product_info.php?cPath=92&products_id=340 and then mount the TK45 to one of those extensions that come of perpendicular to the handlebars. I need to find a good one of those though... Then I am going to get a third bikeblock 180 and mount my LD20 premium r4 to my helmet. I'll post a pic when I get it set up..
