Bin Code question

Regarding the LXHL-PW09. I was looking at the bin code desidnations on theledguy.com website. Is the "P" the lumen output or the "W"? I'm confused. What's the "0" and "9" designation?

Wildcat,
LXHL-PW09 is a part number, not the bin code.

That is the Lumileds part code (for a Luxeon III emitter, I believe) and doesn't include the bin information.

Those aren't the bin codes, they're the product codes... A PW09 is a high dome Luxeon 3 emitter (without the star?).

EDIT: Wow - this one didn't take long. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif If you search down a few pages in this forum you'll find a post that talks all about Lumileds new bin coding.

I went there, but the Star that Wayne has at elektrolumens.com doesn't have any bin info. That's why I was thinking the PW09 was the bin number.
