Blackwhawk night-ops gladius maximis

I was looking at this light and was wondering if it would be a viable option for me as a police officer on patrols?

Interesting - looks like a slightly upgraded version of the Gladius . . . output up to 120 Lumens.

I have the original model, which is I think 80 to 90 Lumens, so this isn't too much of an increase. It is an excellent tactical light, but even with this small upgrade it's perhaps not the newest technology. (Anyone know what emitter is in the Maximus ?)

You may find that there are better options (E.g. Surefire LX2 or E2DL) that might be worth a look too at this price bracket.
