I have been working on modifying this flashlight http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.10452
to use as a bike light. Everything was going great until I did the final wiring and blew the led driver. Lite up about a second and a half and then nothing. After I opened it I could see that a component on the driver was burned. Not sure what happened. I was using a 12 volt lead/acid battery and all my connections looked good with correct polarity. Does anybody have a recommendation on were I can get a replacement driver for this light that will fit and give me good flexibility as far as input voltage goes?
Thanks

Just by chance, about three quarters of an hour before you posted I started a thread to help with just this sort of question. What sort of voltage range are you thinking of? I don't have many buck regulators included yet, sadly.
