Very nicely done!
I have a Bright Star 3D and that tells me you are right on about the toughness of the lights! It also has the bezel design that lets light show if face down and on.
However this light has a textured reflector for a nice smooth edged spot with moderate to light spill.

Wow, Koehler-Bright Star makes pretty nice light. Wonder why no one heard of them? Or maybe it's just me who didn't heard of them... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif

I have a Responder 4C and I can tell you from experience that it is one tough light. Our department is considering changing over all the handheld lights to Responder.
