Not to discriminate against the "less gifted" but I think if you ponder the question this is really the defining factor in a light- what feels good when you hold it in the palm of your hand? Most 2x CR123 lights with a rather thick and beefy body (the Nuwai 351 luxeon V I have, for example) seem to be a common size. Anything much bigger won't fit in ANY pocket unless you have a shotgun trenchcoat.
I have to say I'm grinning like a cheshire cat with my elektrolumens seoul P4 x3 little friend, awesome throw and lots of spill. The consensus is this thing pumps around 450 lumens with a fully charged set of batteries, the size is like chopping the shaft of a D cell maglight to 5". Certainly fits the form factor.
Anything out there on more Viagara? :naughty:

I find My Little Friend too big and HEAVY for pocket carry. I found a pouch for it (for mid size big old cell phone at Dollerama) so I belt carry it sometimes. Mostly I just EDC my L0D-CE with L0P-SE as backup.
I do find the stubby multi-AA/AAA lights easy to hold in my hand.
7x7mm. The Chinese (as opposed to Hong Kong sites) call it 8mm.

EDIT
The review of My Little Friend linked above is of the old LuxIII version. The SSC-P4 version is twice as bright.

Yeah I have one of each myself, I had a bit of convincing to do with myself that I needed another but was glad I did. The SSC is bright to the point of unusable on high in some instances. Despite some little persistent headaches with the switch being pushed around by the too-tight battery carrier, these really are amazing units and I really wonder WTF is up with large manufacturers not making anything in that catagory.
(I guess it adds to the personal exclusivity that Wayne's a bit of an eccentric industrial artist, and I mean that as much a compliment as a criticism, that getting some of his better creations is an almost silly process of predicting which will be the next big thing, ponying up the money while there are slots on the list, and the long, long wait. He has my trust, though and if he's ever done ANYONE wrong for a dollar it's news to me. In a perfect world he'd have a talent pool of people to tap to wear all the hats he does and the world would have a giant warehouse of his creations to buy)
I've designed and built a fair number of contraptions in my years and nothing goes as planned, especially when pushing the envelope.

But yeah, pocket carry it's a bit much. I have a KAI CR123 P4 on each of my keyrings now and got 3 of wayne's XM-2's when he was blowing them out 3 for $99, that handles most needs.

I'm waiting for one of the Sam's HID's to arrive, know of a pouch to fit THAT? hehe......:duck:
