I have a G3 and 2 17500 lithium ions. What is the brightest led mod?

The multi-die P7s or MC-Es... I'm sure a google search in the custom mods section will have heaps of relevant results.
Compared to incan the LED will give you longer runtime and more lumens than the P91 (200 Lumens).
The one you posted there was asking about an incan mod. Here you are asking about a LED mod. The 2 threads are therefore different and can continue as long as there is no overlap.I posted a similar post in the incan section.
That's not entirely correct... the M60 @ 230 emitter lumens vs the P91 @ over 300 Lumens OTF. Also it's not recommended the run the P91 on 17500's, as that is what the OP is inquiring about.
Well I suppose that depends on your idea of "ripped off". The malkoff is a top quality, reliable, US made product with some associated overhead, regardless it's well worth the asking price. You know what you're getting and you know what it can do, that's basically the antithesis of "ripped off". The cheap chinese R2 modules are just that, cheap, and while china can build an excellent product, quality almost inevitably takes a back seat to profit, those modules are 14 dollars for a reason. More to the point, when I think "ripped off" this thread certainly comes to mind .

Ironic it seems because my Malkoff M60 module died after 37 days of use in a G3 w/ CR123's =/ As for the "cheap chinese R2 module"? Still going strong after 3 months...Where do you think Malkoff gets his components anyways? I don't know of too many "top quality, reliable, US made" LED factories over there in Alabama. As for that "associated overhead"; you mean charging $50 for a "reliable American product"? HAH! I'll buy a Toyota over a Ford any day! Not trying to knock Malkoff here (necessarily) but for 1/6 of the price I have myself a much higher quality R2 unit...
I don't know if it makes a difference but my R2 did not come from KD, it came from DX.
I also have recently acquired my first Malkoff drop in courtesy of fellow member Owen and I must say I am very impressed and use it nightly. While I agree the man makes some very nice products my warning to keep this thread on track is not based on my personal opinions of his work but rather to stop un-necessary trashing of this thread.
I as well as others like his designs and also know of his reputation and as such will continue to purchase and enjoy his products. I would really hate to see any member here have a reputation ruined over something that could be a misunderstanding, computer error, or simply a bad experience without first having the chance to correct any issues first. This is a courtesy that should be given to any maker, or member, here just the same.
We have far too many threads that steer off track as it is and most of the time issues can be resolved with a little communication and patience. So again regardless of any personal feelings lets try to keep this thread on topic and take up any other issues in the proper place.
Yeah ripped off.................

7 of which are shill posts for LL, 2 for DX.
Wise indeed......

Lack of posts is not equal to lack of knowledge. At this point I have only posted about things which I feel strongly towards (aka your "shill" posts). For further information, it was in fact the M60L module. I'm no novice at torches, which apparently you judge by my number of posts. You could get an idiot on here blabbing about torches all day long because he has no life and say "Wow he is such a great contributor, lets call him a *Flashaholic*". I just chose to share my experience and say 1) The R2 module from DX is flawless, and 2) The Malkoff M60L failed after what I consider to be a very unacceptable amount of time; and that's my personal experience. I am sure many others have had great experiences with their MM's, but all I'm saying is that for $9.59 shipped, the R2 has turned out to be a better quality, more-for-your-money drop-in module.
I like reading CPF articles because the info is generally unbiased, but if only the *Flashaholics* were regarded as valid contributors, that would skew the information a bit don't ya think?
