Yesterday I ordered a new flashlight, the first in close to three years as best I can remember. I was finally tempted out of retirement by the Preon 2AAA. I love the 2 AAA form and all the positive reports of its performance finally broke me down. This is the last one though...

This is the last one though...

Famous last words.

That Preon 2 does look like a great light. Very versatile too...you can buy a Preon 1 body and swap it out with the Preon 2's longer 2xAAA body if you feel like carrying/using a 1xAAA light with a clicky.

I'm just trying to figure out which colors to buy before I pull the trigger.

SAme thing here...hadn't bought anything in almost 3 years and the day after I went back on the forums for the first time in years, I ended up buying a light! Damn this addiction!

I feel your pain. Since I left the scene a few years back, I've only bought one production light, and ION AAA I think it was. I do drop in once a year or so to work with Milkyspit to feed my L4/E2-format addiction.

Wilkey

Thanks FT, I am getting kinda anxious for it to arrive, lol. Has been a long time since I bought a light, knife, gun, or watch (all of which I have way too many and have been satisfied where I was) and am anxious to use it.

Congrats on your selection. The Preon 2AAA is my edc. I usually carry it in the jeans pocket next to the seam, and the cool part is it is small enough it can be carried in the shirt pocket as well.

Perfect quantity of light (for my purposes). Keep extra batteries handy.

Joe
