I have an AAA LE that broke, and i want to get it fixed/replaced replaced, and it is under a 10 year warentee. but i like the old case, i was wondering what would happen, if i would just get a new head and be able to keep the old case, or if i would just get the whole thing. thans

Your best bet is to probably contact Arc. Just out of interest how/in what way did your AAA-LE break?

when you say "broken" what exactly do you mean?
i've never heard of an arc aaa "breaking"...failing perhaps..but not breaking.

well, it just wont turn on. the case is very clean- everything should be making 100% perfect contact. it just isnt. =\

That sounds like a roll crimp problem. There's instructions around for fixing it at home, but it's best to send it to Arc. They like to examine failed flashlights for themselves, so they can incorporate the knowledge of what went wrong into future design improvements. Also, their responsiveness to customer problems like this is legendary. You don't have anything to worry about.

Does the roll crimp affect all AAA's? By all, I mean all colors. I sent my white one in after all night usage during a blackout. However, my other ARC's never had continuous duty like that.
Also, noticed my Turquoise Arc head doesn't fit my White LED bodies. I love my older black AAA's they develop character as the finish gets worn.
