I have just ordered a Brunton Solar Port from REI. Does any one have one or have any history with one?

Funk,

Check this little jewel out. I have one, made in China, but heavy duty let me tell you.

Great little machine. I have one and it is great.

Best Regards,

the computer model at $400 for 24 watts seems way expensive when you consider for $375 you can buy a whole Siemens 75 watt panel...
same with the 4.2 watt model, but of course if you need that built in battery that's a different story.have you checked out the sangean flexible 10 watt all weather solar panel at ccrane? http://www.ccrane.com/10_watt_solar_panel.asp

Sorry to get off topic, but Ted where is the cheapest place to get SP 75's, new or used? I have only seen them at $400.

Brock, wow that's really a no frills site! good prices though, and some interesting new stuff. have you done business with them?

Yes, I bought my last inverter (SW2512) from them, very quick, but as you mentioned, no frills. I would not recommend them unless you already know what you want, but if you do, they are the place.
