Brunton\'s Firelight, how is it?

I just saw this lighter/led light combo today, wonder if anyone had any exp. with this item and can post about it. mainly the brightness and how long it lasts. the OEM spec says nothing at all.

Re: Brunton\'s Firelight, how is it?

newbie,
Welcome to CPF. I have a Firelight & like it a lot. But there is a fine line here. If you're looking for a good windproof lighter, it's great. For a name brand windproof, it's cheaper than most ($28+ change from TAD}. Very well made & a pleasure to own. Works great. If you'er looking for a good LED light, It SUCKS!! But it DOES light & allows you to find things in the dark. So for a lighter, it's a "Great-plus" (the led is a freebe). Also has a lot of that "WOW" factor everone is always looking for. : ^ )
