If I power a BuckPuck with a 30volt DC / 6amp brick would it be able to handle 3 Bridgelux (9.8volt versions) in series?

While the Buckpuck can handle a 32v input, it can't deal with anything more than 24v on the output (24W on a 1000mA driver). This has been a common issue with driving 3W LEDs like the XR-Es at 1000mA, as your practical limit is 6. Anything more than that and there was a good chance that you would end up with a dead driver. Not sure if the issue is with the output voltage, or the combined output wattage. Either way, you won't be able to drive 3 Bridgelux LEDs on a single Buckpuck.
