That M3C4 is kinda sexy. :o

Just not sure about the rotary. I like buttons! :D

I wish there was a place around me I could get hands on at a store and try them.

I've actually worked a lot of OT lately. Think I've decided on the fenix tk35 or that 4sevens turbo X maybe both . Anyone know of a place in Michigan to go buy instead of online? Or a site that has good deals?

You may want to check out the TK41, great thrower with a nice sized spot. 25 minute is a very long time to hold you light. You will get tired long before it steps down. I use my TK41 as a duty light and I have never had step down on me. I think you will be fine and it won't really bother you.

Ya I wasn't all that impressed with reviews/videos of the tk41. It just doesn't blow my skirt up :grin2:

No matter that I don't like the idea of a special battery I keep looking at that 4sevens malestrom too. But it's a twisty too. It's either gonna be a fenix or 4sevens. And you're right along with everyone else. I probably wont use it 25min straight at a time. but if I use it 25 times for 1min each I'd like it to still work. That's the issue I have with my newby flashlight. It's a lumaforce tac5 and will do 230lumens on one CR123. I figure if I get something else it's time to go bigger!

I'll use it for the length of time on the package it says it will do the max output. Then it will simply turn off and only work if I let it sit then turn it on real quick to put it on medium and then it will work for a while. Then the same process again till I have to put it on low. But by then the sun is usually up.

The M3C4 comes with a forward clicky. Out of the TK35 and Turbo X, I think the TK35 would better suit your needs.

I believe if you turn it off and on, it will go back to max output. It has the timer to protect the LED from overheating.
BTW 350 lumens is quite bright as well.

I think the Olight SR51 does not have a timer to restrict the output.

There are loads of great dealers on here, look about, a lot comment in the forum and none would be a bad place to shop, depending on where you are of course, ive used loads of UK sites which have been great, and US ones, also great, this is a small community so one bad deal can really have an impact on their rep, and also most are flashaholics themselves!

I doesn't work that way. If you use it 25 times or even 50 times for 1 minute at a time it will never step down from heat. If you use it for 25 minutes 1 time, it will step down from heat. Every time you turn the light off you reset the timer.

sweet! Well just found a way better price than the 90 online in the marketplace here. Gonna try out the TK35. So excited. I still may look at the s12, m3c4, or that other soupcan one. They seemed ok. I recently found some army one too that looked descent but can't remember the name. I think it was about 600 lumen. But after the money I saved here I could probably do one more

Think I'm getting hooked.

Thanks for all your help guys
