Which has the over all best beam throw and power at distance to see more detail. I just ordered a C2 with hard anodizing.

My feeling is that the C2 should be a good thrower when compared to the P3D, but the P3D has more output , so how do they compete for throw and brightness of the throw?

Anyone got both care to give some info on how they compete for distance and detail in the beam? :poke:

I have a C2 on the way, and my P3D's should be back with me tomorrow. When I have all the lights I'll post beam shots and bounce tests. The P3D's will be a P3D Q5 and a P3D Rebel 100. I no longer will have a P3D P4. I did take some bounce tests with my P3D while t was still a P4.

Alright, finally got around to some more testing. The Dereelight CL1H 2.0 with OP reflector out throws the C2. The Dereelight's hot spot is larger, but it's also brighter than the C2's hot spot. However, the C2 does have a larger spill area than the Dereelight with an OP. If I point the lights at the same distant objet, the C2's spill starts about 2 feet closer to me than the Deerelight's. The C2's spill is about the same as my Fenix P3D Rebel100, but the C2 seems to edge out the P3D very slightly.

Took the kids for a 6 mile stroller ride. I mounted the C2 on the top of their jogging stroller and it worked well as a bicycle type light when I needed more light than my little LED bicycle lights put out.
