Yes to all.
I prefer open top holsters for easy deployment, so I cut the flap off of my T1 holster.
But yes, the TK10 holster is well-made. It might wear out after 6 months or a year of hard use, but until then you are fine. Not built like Maxpedition, but plenty good.

i have a maxpedition M1 waist pack i want to retire, simply because its too big, but i tell you what, maxpedition gear are built to last! would you say it would be wise to go with a maxpedition holster? if so, which one would it fit in.
