It's labeled NiMH 2/3A1100 MaH
China

It's the same diameter as a 123 but it's only about 80% as long so you would need five of these to get the same length as four 123's.
A buddy of mine ended up with about four hundred of then in an auction buy but neither of us can figure out what you would do with them.
Thanks in advance, RJ

Other than it is a rechargeable NiMH 2/3 A Cell battery rated at 1,100 mAhours?

You can search for folks that use this cells (like RC) and you can find cell holders for them...

It looks like you could stack six sideways into a slightly bored 2C flashlight for 7.4@1100MaH or four in series/parallel for 2.4@2200MaH for each D cell without boring. Maybe good for the hotwire folks. I keep reading old posts where people think you can sub them for 123s but I don't understand how that's possible as the voltage is so low and they are shorter. I can buy them cheaply but I'm not sure how I'd use them. I just heard back from the guy and he also ended up with hundreds of 650MaH NiCad AA but I'm not really sure how useful they would be either.
John..
