Can this driver be modified?

Excuse the resistor labeling; those are surface mount diodes, not resistors.

They're AMC7135 boards, and they can be purchased from DX or KD. They don't have any modes. If you'd rather use the Shiningbeam driver, you should be able to remove the ATMEL chip from the board, then use a meter to find where to solder jumper wires, then you're good to go. Also, you may want to check any diodes or resistors to see if they need to be removed as well. I've played with these boards a good bit so if you need any info, don't hesitate to holler:D.

I thought I had an unused Shiningbeam 1.4A driver, so I found it this afternoon and broke out my camera to take a picture for you. Remove the ATMEL chip, then solder a jumper wire and you will have a 1.4A, single mode driver :thumbsup::
