Re: Metal m@g reflector: any interest?

Looks nicely machined.
Count me in for 2 units if you are going to sell these /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: Metal m@g reflector: any interest?

In the picture they look blackened inside the tube, it is the picture or they have a different color in the tube and edge of the cam??
Also, how about getting some in LOP and MOP, to smooth the artifacts in the beam??
Another question, what is the purpose of the flat at the edge of the cam?
I have see the same flat in the Fivemega ones but I don't know what is the purpose for it. The original Maglite reflector don't have that flat.
How about getting some with the small hole of the Carley reflector, camless they seal better from behind with the bi-pin or the original bulb holder and don't losse any light down the drain!!
get better soon
best regards
Juan C.

Re: Metal m@g reflector: any interest?

If these work in a mag without any mod I would be interested in at least 5 of them. Please check that they can be made up cammless too, LOP, MOP, HOP.

Re: Metal m@g reflector: any interest?

waion,

I think you can sell as many as you want, and if you can get these with a small hole and camless, and if you can orange peel these, I can take about 100.

Re: Metal m@g reflector: any interest?

Also check the reamed hole, the opening should be 15mm to let the pin or the bulb holder to go thru.
The camless 1940 small hole have an opening of 9 mm. in case you are interested in making some.
You said that you are going to test them, test for stickness to the head, some of them stick so tight to the head that the head have to be removed and the reflector push or hammered from behind in order to free them.
We like them when they drop out by their own weight!!!
Sorry to be so picky, but some of the Carley modified were a PITA because has to be re-modified in the rear!!

Re: Metal m@g reflector: any interest?

Is there interest in these? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
You bet!!

You almost started a riot with that question. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yellowlaugh.gif

Bring em on waion!!!
There is a huge market for these!!!
Some in smooth, some in light orange peel, and some of each with no cam.

Re: Metal m@g reflector: any interest?

Waion. one more point, if you are to Orange peel them, make sure that it is made by a process called vapor metal deposit and no by spraying krylon on it.
