I have a TK11 running on CR123's and I love how bright it is, but I need to get some rechargeable batteries and a charger. I'm thinking of getting RCR123's because they would be brighter then the 18650....right?
Don't really care about runtime as they are rechargeable and I will have spares. Thing is I would like a good charger that can charge the RCR123's without having to put spacers in, would be nice if it could charge 18650's just in case. Also going to get the ZTS MBT-1 tester for a little assurance.
I was looking at AW's page and I am confused.
Am I correct when this "Protected R123A ( 750 mAH ) ----- $ 6.00 each"
means this "Protected RCR123 (750mAh) ----- $6.00 each"?
It would suck to order the wrong batteries.

There are a few different ways of describing these batteries. RCR123 and R123a are some of the most common. Pretty certain that they are the same battery, although I could only see one description on the sales thread.

If you want a good charger that will do both 18650 and RCR123, you may as well get used to the idea of using spacers. They're not a problem to use, and if you don't want to buy them you can easily make them yourself.

The best 2-bay Li-Ion charger is the Pila IBC.

Get the Pila that DM51 recommends if you are willing.

The R123s are your best bet in that light if you want to maintain maximum output through the run, if you don't mind steady dimming to ~50% of initial output and want to quadruple the runtime, use an 18650, if you want to have double the runtime of 2xR123s while still maintaining maximum output through the run, sell the TK11 and buy a DereeLight CL1H with a 2.7-4.2V module and 18650s.
