I totally understand the desire for the guy to assume room temperature. However, taking his life would almost assuredly not be a positive experience for the shooter.

Assuming the property owner was a man, and a bit of of an old-fashioned one; he'd likely chalk it up to one of those things that needed doing. Get it done, live with it, move on. That mentality in men, in America used to be the norm. Sadly, it's not anymore.
