Cell Phone Flashlight Adapter

OK, so I find myself doing pointless things on the internet sometimes. I did a Google Images search for flashlight and I came upon a pretty cool idea. I dont know who this fella is and I hope he/she doesnt mind me linking to their website in Italy, but this person has a couple pics of a connector to their cell light that runs a little nichia. Check it out:

Is this something that is freely available, anyone have the know-how to make something like this? Probably not practical but I thought it was pretty clever. I was thinking, get ahold of a extra charger cord with cell phone connector, take out the wire, and epoxy a LED into the housing of the connector. Now the gears are turning.

I think its doable, now to find a super cheap recharger cord for my Samsung cell phone to destroy.

I'm working on getting a luxeon star epoxied to the back of my Sanyo phone battery. I need to find a really simple small switch though.

Actually, I think a while back Roy or someone posted a link to another place that sells batttery covers for phones (mostly Nokias IIRC) which has a couple of Leds on them. All you need to do is press the cover and they light up or something... I'll try and search for it and see if I can still find it...

fixed my pics the imagestation acct didnt jive, thanks to logicnerd for easy ftp access for hosting pics. I have seen the battery with led on them before, couple different kinds

Type 1 self stick
Type 2 integrated battery pack

but what fun is that, I need to get the soldering iron out, just somewhat worried I'd break my phone, try explaining that to T-Mobile customer service.
