Change rubber boot switch cover?

Thank you both for the replies - however it seems that the GID covers are actually larger than the Fenix cover so not much I can do! That'll teach me to buy before receiving the torch!

Have you tried pushing the button through the hole first and then assembling the switch? I've managed to use oversize buttons in the past.
