Changing circuit board for my MC-E

Hello all,



I have a WF 502B with the MC-E emitter from DX in 5 mode.



I hate that five mode and would like to change it.



Would that be difficult for me to do (I can solder and am generally mechanically inclined)? If that's not too tough, then I would plan to get a three mode board from Shining Beam unless that's a silly idea and there is a much better way to achieve this...



Also the tail switch is too sensitive for me when changing modes. Is there an easy way to replace or fix that?
