charging percentage, capacity, and extending cell phone battery life

Sony are supposed to be going to add battery savers to their android phones like they had on there notebooks, like stop charging at 80% or less maybe if will is user adjustable, I have been looking for a hardware method to stop charging at 80% for 5 or 6 years but not a sniff, So i have to use an app to sound an alarm and manually pull the cable out myself.

Well i am going to give 30-70% setting a go for my charge alarm, I was using 20-80% up to now.
