i intentionally ran down the batteries on my ROP until it started to dim quickly. Now i'm trying to charge it and the light on the charger stays green. isn't it supposed to be red if its charging? i've checked and double checked the connections of the batteries in the battery holder. also, how long does it take to charge?

Did you read the directions/claims for the charger? Actually I don't know if that charger comes with directions (I don't have one), but doesn't it have two charging rates, something like 900 and 1800 mAh? If you're running it at 1800 mAh, it should take about/around an hour and a half with your batteries.

I guess you might also need to check your batteries, but it's more likely that you have a defective charger if it is new.

Hello Jayhackett,

I think you have a bad connection. Check them again. When you unplug your white connector what battery voltage do you read?

Tom

well, i played with the head that screws on the battery holder, i think its workin now. its red. if it goes green anytime soon, i'll be back!

Keep an eye on it.
If the batteries are almost charged it will never go green and your batteries will get very hot and drippy.

p.s. My charger seems to get an intermittent connection sometimes. Flexing the power lead seems to get it going.
