Hi,

Can anyone recommend me a cheap 1 AA flashlight, preferably below $40. It seems that all the cheap ones on DX and KD either have a rediculous amount of modes or bad memory modes. However the well known brands such as Fenix, Olight and Jetbeam don't make one cheaper than $50.

I would like:
- 3 modes, Low, Med, High. I dont care if it has strobe or SOS as long as I wouldn't have to cycle through it to get to the real modes.
- A good output ~120 Lumens if possible off 1 AA cell.
- Good build quality. This is going to be a present and I want something that feels like a quality product and wont stop working after a month.
- Decent regulation. Doesn't have to be Fenix standard but about 45 minutes on High would be nice.
- No memory mode would be preferable.

Please point out if I have missed any "real" brands that do make a cheap 1AA flashlight with the specs above.

Thanks in advance,

Ben

if it were me, I'd spend the extra couple bucks for something like a Fenix.
check out batteryjunction.com., they seem to have a few Fenix's cheaper than DealExtreme.

happy hunting.!
