Cheap C123\'s in the U.K??

Hi can anyone tell me the cheapest place to get Lithium 123's in the U.K - The best I've come up with so far is here? Cheers, Pat.

Re: Cheap C123\'s in the U.K??

Thats about as cheap as it gets for us brits. Next cheapest ive found is ODS , who charge £2.75 for 2 SF123s. These perform much better than the Panasonics.

Thanks Kakster! Joe must have dropped his prices, for the extra few pence I might aswell just buy from him, especially seeings they are SF's after all - fortunately I've not been a victim of the SF failures we read about so till I am.....

Oh, nearly forgot...i think i remember reading somewhere that Jessops (camera shop) were doing a price match thing. They sold Duracell 123s for the same price as the 7dayshop Panasonics. I'm not too sure if they are still doing this.

Re: Cheap C123\'s in the U.K??

I haven't noticed the few Surefires I've used perform any better than the Panasonics. I have noticed the Surefires failing for no blimming reason though.

I hope they've sorted out their problems.

kakster - are Duracell likley to be a better bet than Panasonics?

Mr Bombastic - I'll pursue other brands from now on especially seeings I've had my fears dispelled in another thread about non -SF's blowing SF bulbs - sounded odd anyway!

Without a doubt, Duracells are better than Panasonics. My performance observations were from doing a rough-and-ready runtime test on my McLux 1 cell/1 watt. From a sample of about 3 each of the Surefire, Duracell and Panasonic, the Panasonics gave a pretty consistant 20 minutes less runtime. Duracell and Surefires gave pretty much the same times, but switching to an incandescant (E2e with MN03), the Surefires gave a whiter beam.
