I have my main 2 surefires that i carry with me everywhere i go, my L2 and my E2DL, I keep them in the holster on my belt. But here recently i started carrying a little cheap one, you know the kind you would find at a gas station or by the cash resister at your local hardware store. I keep this one in my front pocket, not a bad little one for 6 bucks(has 8 little leds surrounding a laser pointer and takes 3 AAA bats). I use this one for little things and quick jobs that don't require a lot of light, plus is it get broken, lost or stolen its fine cause its not one of my babys. the other fide of the coin is that while using it I love so someone to point out how weak it is and have them take out a better one:candle:(not knowing the flashaholic i am) before i switch to my E2DL and blow theirs out of the water:poke:. It strikes up a lot of conversations with fellow flashlight lovers:drool:.

Anyone else like use this little dirty trick?:naughty:

Welcome to CPF!

I don't do that trick. What I do do is use my lights on low and when I get a smart alecky comment I switch to high beam. It works best with the plethora of one celled beauties now on the market, Aeon, Arc6, NovaTac, E1L...

The light that I carry that might be considered cheap by CPF standards is my 2xCR123A incandescent Cyclops light, which can vary between 40 and 80 lumens, depending on the age of the battery.

Don't be, there is nothing wrong with it, nor is having just a "cheap" light. I was just using cheap for the price, the light is a nice one, but losing it would not hurt me as bad as losing a $200 surefire, plus I love to just take out a light and turn it on even if I don't need it, I have the bug BAD! That and the little one uses 3 AAA batts and not 123s, so it is cheaper to operate as well:twothumbs
