I currently use SureFire 123A's for my E2E, M2, M3 and ARC-SLS. These appear to be about half the price. Does that mean they don't last as long or produce as much power?

Yes. I buy them for work from cheapbatteries.com They are not quite as good as Duracell. But for the price they are the best $ for the power. If you use a high power lamp they don't seem to hold up as well, but in a light that runs about an hour they seem fine.

Yes, I just received 24 of them from Sunn Battery at about $2.06 shipped to Hawaii. Only thing is I bought them to supplement my rapidly dwindling supply of Duracell 123s so I have not used them yet.
