On many LED products there is a COB (chip on board). It is usually a black dot covering an IC dye. The IC may blink a LED, it may blink 3 or more LEDs, it may only turn on/off a LED, it also regulates the current in the LED.
It is not a micro controller like a PIC10F222. It is programmable. (limited!!) I can get different blink rates and some other functions like delays.
Most will work from 6.5 volts down to 1.8 volts.
Question: Where can I get these? Data sheet? Who makes them?
Thanks
