This is nice. I usually get annoyed when I see Christmas decorations going up in stores before Haloween or Thanksgiving - but this is OK. I just gave my brother in law a Peak about two weeks ago, looks like he might get a second one for Christmas.

My wife had a power failure at work yesterday. I offered her a choice from among my small Peak lights, and she swiped my Pacific HP HA in CR2 body.

This gave me an excuse to order another one in HA Seoul at an ultra power level.

Arty I would think that an Ultra Power Pacific with a Seoul powered by a CR2 ought to be quite the pocket rocket. I know my Lux version with a CR2 is surprisingly bright for its size........

Maybe I'm missing something or maybe the web site is being updated. I don't see all the options that are listed in some of the previous posts.

Example: Pacific HA with CR2 body. All I see is a Pacific HA with AAA body...:thinking:

I was looking at the Kino Bay lights that are listed in the OP and can't find the options listed for sale, let alone the price (list price) shown in the OP.

When ordering, I have always made requests in the special order box for changes from the stock body - e.g. a CR2 body or another body for a Pacific light.

I'm trying to decide whether to augment my HP Pacific LuxIII with a P4 Ultra Power - or really go for the gusto with a Super Ultra Power. I'm going to keep the HP Lux on the AA body for a long runtime light, and run the new head on a CR2 body ... The ultra power seems more reasonable but since I've got a longer runtime version already, maybe a really, really bright light would be kind of fun... It would be interesting to see what the runtime of the SP P4 Pacific is on a 3v setup.

But when I click on the different Matterhorn links, I don't see how to select the tail style. Are there some more links around that I missed?

Robyn, are all the lights on that Yahoo list actually available and is the 20% sale in effect for all of them (other than the first responder)?

Edit: It looks like that's an old page left over from the previous web site (the one that worked). It won't let me order any of the lights. I'm pretty sure the one I wanted is discontinued though. Oh well.

Can anyone point me to a table or chart listing what current levels "High" "ultra" etc. represents? I suspect it's different for AA and AAA sized lights but I don't know..... TIA

They have this information on their website for individual lights. I am not sure how this translates into the new Seoul drivers, but the safest way to find out is to call for a specific light. Their CD has lots of useful info.
