Hi to all,

How does one clean tainted Surefire Z46 reflector? How to remove the reflector from the bezel?

Thanks.

Problem is he's quite far away from SF...

Jumpstat how about strap wrench for a start. Then heat, and more heat.. and more heat.
You will need watch opener for the bezel ring, otherwise you can fabricate your own by cutting a piece of metal the right size so it fits the two opposite slots. It should be tight fit so it does not slip. Heat it up so it weakens the epoxy then you should be able to unscrew the bezel ring. You should not need a lot of force. Too much force, there will be marks on the bezel ring. The HAIII does not like to be stressed.
