Got an Arc AAA about a month ago. Love it for reading in bed at night. I put it between the top of my ear and my head. Still on the original battery. Took the clip off of a Mag 2AAA and put it on the Arc. Works great.

No modification is needed. Just unscrew the lamp head then place the clip on the body of the Arc AAA. I suppose if you moved the clip around often enough it would affect the finish but so far no marks.

Soon there will be offical Arc AAA clips available directly from Arc. What "soon" means is left to interpretation, however.

I'll move the thread to the Arc forum and see if Peter has a comment.

Don't know where you could get just the clip.
It looks blasphamus, an Arc AAA with a clip with the Maglite logo on it.

Soon was going to be "soon" but it soon turned into later.

Actually, we ordered a bunch of prototype clips (about $40/pc unfinished). The clips where 'ok' when we got them, but the supplier wanted to charge $10/pc for production quantities. We are currently looking for another supplier (or I was until I had to go put out some fires with the LS).

So for now, there are metal clips to had from pencils, pens, other flashlights, etc. Also, several CPF members have made kydex clips that can be worn or attached to your cap, etc. Check out the Dana thread. Lots of options.

You can by the cip from Brinkman for, I believe, about $3 shipped. They have it in black too. TX

I attached my AAA Maglite clip on my ARC AAA several months ago, after a suggestion on this board.

To avoid scratching the ARC finish, I slightly opened the band of the clip to lessen the tension. I've attached and detached the clip several times, and noticed a very slight shiny texture on the flashlight finish, where the band contacted the ARC. Not very noticable or objectionable to me, but may be traumatic to others.

I also bent the clip tip outward to produce a tiny gap between the clip tip and the ARC to allow easier attachment to the thick material on my shirts and jeans. This also prevents the clip tip from digging into the flashlight barrel.

I didn't find it necessary to remove the flashlight head, since I attached the clip from the lanyard hole end.

I took the clip off my L0Dce. Waiting for my Arc. Here's hoping!

On my Fenix L0D CE that mag clip fits much better than the new Fenix clip.

I have found the folks at flashlightking to be very helpful when I have ordered the AA or AAA mag clips.:sold:

Yep it is and it did! I picked up the clipless idea from earlier messages.
It's now on my keychain and it's a little gem. Unlike my Raw NS it won't spend its life in the display cabinet.
PS I took the clip off.

Yep, same here...glad you are happy with AAA-P anyways, I see a lot of AAA lights with fancy functions and crazy lumen outputs...I don't see anything that is built and finished like the Arcs though.

A great little light that demands that you use it and abuse it!
