Seems like a neat idea. CMG phoenix motion sensing lantern

The phoenix motion sensing lantern uses an infrared sensor to detect movement up to 12 feet away. When activated, the sensor triggers an soft white incadescent bulb which stays lit for 30 seconds. The light will shut off if there is no movement for 30 seconds. Whenever you get up at night the light will turn on. You can swith to "light mode" and the lantern stays on indefinitly Uses components from Hewlett Packard. Made in the USA.

Don't know what I'd do with it, but I'm sure there are plenty uses.
