colored (light brown) G10

While it might not be a material that is very useful for flashlight creations I thought maybe someone has an idea where I could find some G10 sheets with a brownish color ( example1 example2-eventhough not G10 ?

I have already tried Halpern-Titanium but their desert-tan G10 is very light, close to white - not brown. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/icon3.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinking.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/huh.gif

Hi there, you might have a tough time finding the exact material like in the example1 link, if I recall correctly,
the "coyote brown" G10 they use in those grips is a custom color, and can only be bought in orders of 1000 lbs or more.
You could try emailing Simonich knives (http://www.simonichknives.com/) and see if they'd be willing to sell you an off-cut piece? Failing that, I think striderknives.com was also involved in producing those gunner grips, they could possibly help point you in the right direction.

I am somewhat hesitating to ask the Simmonich crew for some of that stuff - they've already got enough around their head for sure.
