Been trying for years to buy one .. For some reason I always ended up with a refund rather than a knife - Not so this time !
Bevel is 20 degrees per side . I'm back using printer paper .. Nothing else compares .
Before this test I used a QSP Parrot in 440c , & years ago it tested at a 250 slice fail !
And today it failed at 250 slices on what is now a new ROPE ! That's consistency !
The Columbia failed at 350 slices with a 20 degree bevel .. Previous Columbia have been 16 / 14 / 12 degrees and such .
For the price paid ( less than $10 Oz bananas + GST ) , that's a very decent performance for $ paid .
3 ............ no , 6 other knives have failed to ship this year . All in the last 2 months ! 2 Knives in the last few weeks .
Yeah , I'm a knife'A'holic !
