Converting batteries

Hi I have a Polaroid Infrared Camcorder light. I am wanting to change the rechargeable battery that last only an hour at best to something that last longer. Could someone lead me in the right direction to what kind of battery I can use. I have some soldering skills. The specs on the battery are 750mAh capacity ,voltage 3.7v .

Seems like they are using single Lithium Cobalt cell. How much room do you have inside battery case? What is size of original cell inside the case?

id say its smaller than a cell phone battery. 4 cm long , 3.5 width , and .4 cm thick.

I can add and an external battery holder to the light. Not much room in the light itself.

If you can use one of 18650 (3100) protected cell, your run time will be 4 times of original.
Mentioned cell is about 18mm in diameter and 68mm length.
