So what is the reason of the P60 being less round then the MN03?

FWIW, I still can't decide between the E2e and the D2. I prefer the D2 over the other 2-cell lights because of the pocketclip which seems very handy to me, and it has an LOTC (which the G2 doesn't have). And although the E2e is smaller then the D2 and also has a pocketclip, the P60 is brighter and throws further. That sounds great. And the D2 isn't that much larger, is it? Hmmmm...

I prefer the E2(e) over the P60 for most uses because the beam is more diffused. Unless you are outside shining the light at some distance (like over 50') the E2e works just fine. Using the P60 at close range is overkill because so much light is focused into the hotspot. It comes down to personal preferance & what kind of performance/beam & runtime you want out of the light.

For a size comparison between a G2 (about the size of the D2) and E2 and beamshots look here.
