It is that special time of year again. I hope you will be able to join me on this auspicious occasion. We have a possible date of Saturday 16th June at the Devil's Dyke.

As sort of 'host' being the one local to the proposed venue Devil's Dyke, I had intended to start a new thread I would have called "UK CPF meet in Sussex at Devil's Dyke - 16 June 2012":

Moon is at 9.3% and sets at 18:32 (so before sunset making it nice and dark)

I've put a request in for good weather, but my record on that is not the best!

Now what to buy for the meet? TK70? McLux? Snowmobile? Thermals!!

I have already been shopping at Snow and Rock and got a great deal on a snowmobile, as Subwoofer has selected the date.

Nice location, less than an hour away from me so long as it doesn't snow.

One more so far - remoteneeded should be able to come - I've spoken to him, but he almost never posts! And still waiting to hear from others.

I need to look up the date, check with family/work and get back to you all.
 
Hemdale is experiencing problems posting, but is happy to attend. Orb might be able to make it too.

There is w nice pub at the top of the hill and Sub has access to a nearby golf course. It should make a great venue. The food was fairly good too. Plus I am sure you will get to see some new lights.
 
I would love to go but Saturdays (any Saturday) is no good for me .... baby-sitting while the Mrs is working

Well and truely gutted :(

I have received a few more replies, but I haven't got anymore to add expect for Hemdale who attended the last CPF Meet. I tried not buying anything new, but failed miserably :duh2:
