I am trying to find a replacment battery for a CR10440. The cr10440 is a 3.6v 500mah battery, i would like to replace it with something from 1500-2000mah.
Any suggestions? I have found several batterys that are the same voltage at 2200mah but they do not give the actual size of the battery,ie lengh of battery and such.
I would think they would be the same size but i just wanted to make sure.
Thanks in advance.
lee :)

500mAh is pretty normal for a 3.6v cell in the 10440 (AAA) size. To find something in the >1500 mAh range in 3.6v would be a much larger cell. 17670's are 1600mAh and 18650's are 2200mAh.

Thanks for the reply, just to make sure i understand (newbe here to batterys).
17670 would be bigger around and or longer than a cr10440?
I do not have any room for a larger battery.
I was hoping to find a more prowefull battery in the same physical size.

Yes, a 17670 is larger in size.
the first two numbers are the diameter in millimeters, the third and forth numbers are the length in millimeters, and the "0" represents that it is a cylinder shape.

10440 is 10mm by 44mm and is round in shape (also known as a AAA)

If this is a rechargeable 10440 most run around 300 to 350mah while many claim more (like up around 600 mah) but you won't likely find any that can actually achieve that. You won't find anything currently in that size with much more output although new chemistries on the horizon promise better power. The best battery in that size is probably the AW 10440 sold by AW on CPF Marketplace.
