Are these two different batteries or the same? I can get them locally for about $8.00 EA. Any good place to order them online for less than this? Thanks!

Check the Dealers section in the General Forum. You can buy them from several places for around $2 each, often less depending on what you choose. I don't know if I can specify one in particular, but the Dealers who are a part of this forum get my business.

Lowe's was selling 2 pack Surefire batteries for $5 ($2.50 ea). Not bad if you need them right away.

DL123, CR123, CR123A, and the many other names are all different names for the same thing.
