where do you guys get your cr123s online now that battery junction had the fire..... id like to get rechargables NOT FROM DX but im worried they will be a different size and not fit or work..... any input to my problem? suggestions to both would really help

carrot, you forgot about 4Sevens' cells.
nasa779, these 4Sevens' branded CR123A cells apparently performs pretty well, been running them in Quarks since... these are made in China tho...

and what about rcr123's are they bigger in size? do they have fitment issues?

my only experience is using AW's cells, both RCR123 and IMR 16340, they fit just nicely in all my 1, 2 or 3 cells lights. :twothumbs

btw, i assume you do know the different in Voltage between the primary CR123A and RCR123/IMR16340, right? Some 2 or 3 cells lights (drop-in included) are not design to safely run on these higher Voltage .

In some lights they might not fit correctly. Also, many lights are not compatible with rechargeable batteries, especially two or more in Series. It might be a good idea to see if your light supports Li-ion (not just lithium) battery chemistry's.
