Hey all, so i'm about to buy an Liteflux LF2XT but i'm not sure if i should go with the R2 WH emitter or the Q4 4C emitter. The R2 costs an extra $15, is this even worth it? From what i can gather it seems like the increase in brightness is barely even noticeable since we're already pretty up there in the lumen range. I care about brightness and tint too so i won't just buy the brightess LED if it has bad tint. But i want it to be at least close to the best LED's brightness. Thanks!

Seems like a choice between cool white and neutral white. You've gotta prefer one over the other, right?

I also just bought a LF2XT with the Q4, and I really like it. It will now serve as my main edc! I've been on a slight neutral/warm white kick lately.

Neutral white will make colors "pop" more then cool white, which from what I hear makes up for the lack in output. I'd say save the $15 and go for the Q4 4C tint.

Ahh thank you for the advice!! Saved me $15 bucks! I was debating so heavily between the two. I'll go for the Q4 =D

I have both the Q4 and R2 version of the LF2XT. Both are nice, I can't tell the difference in brightness in real life use. The tint is noticeably warmer in the Q4.

P.S. I heard kuku can do an R5 emitter upgrade for $16 if you buy the light from him?

in my opinion i would go for the cool white since i can't seem to stand the warm color

what I don't get is how they can charge $15 bucks for an upgrade of a part that cost $7.00 instead of $6.00. lol. the labor is the same.
