Crenulated tailcap bezel for RRT

I put crenulated tailcap bezel on RRT 's and they didn't fit flush as you can see in picture. What should I do about this to insure water tight fit and looks? I was thinking of bigger o-rings, would this be OK and if so, Does anybody know the correct size O-ring and where to buy? I also bought same bezel for M1X but seems to have differant threads. Any recommendations would be appreciated. :sigh:

Mine does the same thing, despite the fact that the seller (who is a well known seller of flashlight stuff) told me it would fit fine when I asked him about it. :thumbsdow

You are going to need to head to the hardware store and find an o-ring that will fill the gap.

I was going to remove a little material from the threads but if the tail cap sits any closer to the body of the light then the button will start to protrude past the cap.

Hello,

Would you guys mind sharing the best technique for removing the old ring? I just received my crenulated ring and for the life of me I cant get the original ring off. Also, what sized o-ring did you use, I'm thinking a GITD ring would be a good fit here assuming the correct size could be had.
