custom heatsink needs lovin

folks, I am trying a daft idea -- a side firing configuration of 5 Cree R's in a mag body with a larger dia reflector from KD. I have all the other bits on order but can't find a local shop willing to make the heatsink. The heatsink has 2 sections: the lower part fits into a mag -D body (1.5" height) and theres a square standoff (2" high, 10mmx10mm square) on which I will glue the LEDs. EDIT: I tried drawing the outline here but no joy - will be happy to mail it to anyone who cares!



I wonder if anyone on the list would have a go at this for a reasonable-ish cost ?

I believe McGizmo did this with 3 cree on a pedestal going up into a custom 3 segmented reflector.

yessir thats the idea. i did ask Don if he'd be able to do a sink but no joy there as he was busy ... dunno if anyone else has had much a go at this but thought i'd give it if a bash - getting rid of the heat will be the next interesting job here.

I think I have evrything i need but the heatsink/pedestal... any ideas on who would mill up something as a one-off job ?
