Is it possible to modify the user interface on the Fenix TK41 to remove the strobe and SOS modes?
I as seriously considering buying this flashlight and from what I have read, currently the right hand button serves 2 functions: it is power on/off and also mode change from general mode into the flashing modes. I was wondering if it is possible to make the right hand button just an on/off switch, with the left hand button controlling the 4 power levels?
I live on a big rural property with horses and desperately need a decent light! but if I activated the strobe by mistake around the horses I know one of them will freak out an hurt themselves. They can be easily distressed at times...
I am handy with a soldering iron but I dont know much about electrical circuit design. Is what I am hoping for even possible???
